Dec. 2002 - Present, Geophysicist, Brazil Deepwater Exploration, BP, Houston, Texas.
Supervisor: Craig Cooper, Kevin Boyd

Integral member of the interpretation team, responsible for regional play fairway evaluation and detailed prospect generation.
Incorporated advanced technologies such as spectral decomposition and StratCube into the workflow, which enabled faster facies recognition and reservoir architecture description.
Provide geotechnical support to the seismic acquisition and processing programs.
Presented at various internal and external technical review sessions.

Responsible for the processing of various 2D and 3D VSP data sets for the Thunder Horse Asset Team.
First to apply the latest migration algorithms on VSP data sets, which produced images of significant better quality and within a shorter time frame than provided by the contractors.
Analyzed synthetic VSP data for the Thunder Horse, Mad Dog, and Atlantis Teams to optimize the survey design and decrease the cost by using more efficient acquisition parameters.
Became an active, contributing member of a team of geophysical experts within UTG.
Became an experienced user of the USP processing toolkit.
Co-author of two patent disclosures and several abstract presented at SEG 2002 and 2003.
