Welcome to my homepage. These pages have a lot of information about me. The professional page has information about my work, research and links to all my publications. The timeline page has a timeline of my life, including various pictures of trips, friends and family. The map of the world page has much of the same pictures and stories, but organized on a map. The bookmarks page has all the bookmarks of sites I like to visit. The wedding link is still there as a reminder of the great wedding I had with Becki.

This website started in the spring of 1996 as a great form of procrastination, while working on my M.Sc. in Delft. During my time in Austin, it expanded as a great way to show my research to recruiters and other interested scientists. When my roommate pointed out that my domain name was still available, I couldn't resist and reserved it. Now it is a great way to show pictures of my various trips to all my friends. The timeline page is basically like a blog before that word was ever invented. Now with myspace and facebook and all those other simple ways to built your own pages it is getting out of date, but still a great way to keep a record of all of my adventures.

But if the weather stays rainy like it is in Norway, soon you will see a new frontpage with better links to the stories, and options to leave your comment. The first addition is that I have sorted out all our photos from the last five years and have put them online at: BestOfPhotos.
