Welcome to my homepage. These pages have a lot of information about me. The professional page has information about my work, research and links to all my publications. The timeline page has a timeline of my life, including various pictures of trips, friends and family. This website started in the spring of 1996 as a great form of procrastination, while working on my M.Sc. in Delft. During my time in Austin, it expanded as a great way to show my research to recruiters and other interested scientists. When my roommate pointed out that my domain name was still available, I couldn't resist and reserved it. Now it is a great way to show pictures of my various trips to all my friends. The timeline page is basically like a blog before that word was ever invented. Now with myspace and facebook and all those other simple ways to built your own pages it is getting out of date, but still a great way to keep a record of all of my adventures.
